ABOUT JAN MICHAEL LOOKING WOLF Native American (enrolled Kalapuya Tribal Member) with Irish descent that lives near his reservation , Jan Michael Looking Wolf is a well accomplished Native American recording artist with 16 CDs and 2 DVDs recorded on various record labels....earning 39 Award Recognitions and a top ten ranking in the national new age charts. Traveling a broad range of musical styles with the Native American Flute, he became the first ever to win for Flutist of the Year at the NAMMYS and the ISMA for his solo native flute CD 'UNITY' in 2008. A PATH OF PERSONAL HEALING: HIS STORY In spring of 1994, Jan Michael suffered two large strokes from a very rare unknown genetic enzyme disorder prone to Native Americans and had blood clots pass through his brain and heart and cause bleeding in the lungs.
