Jan Michael has garnered 70 national awards for his music, including 6 Global Music Awards, an Indigenous Music Award, 2 Indian Summer Music Awards, 6 Native American Music Awards with 32 nominations there, and the coveted One World Music Radio Award for Best Native American Recording in 2018 and 2019.  Jan Michael has received two Lifetime Achievement Awards respectively from One World Music Radio (2019) and Spirit Wind Records (2010). He is among the most honored Native American Music recording artists in history.
